Placing your Safety at the Heart of our Events

Guided by Informa AllSecure - a detailed set of measures developed collaboratively with industry associations, event organisers, and venues, Seatrade Cruise Med aims to deliver the highest levels of hygiene and safety, providing reassurance and confidence that participants are in a safe and controlled environment.

All Informa events will be run according to official government guidance in the first instance, as well as any venue or location-specific regulations. Please check local entry requirements before you travel to Málaga. In addition, all Informa events will follow the Informa AllSecure priority commitments. Wherever applicable and possible, our events will also apply the fuller range of standards and guidelines described in the Informa AllSecure Guidebook

Cleaning & Hygiene

Here are measures we will take to facilitate the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene:

1. Enhanced cleaning

Seatrade Cruise Med will undertake enhanced, deep cleaning before, during and after the event, working with venue partners to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness. This includes continuous sanitisation throughout the event, with a specific focus on high-touch areas such as door handles, restrooms and food and beverage areas.

2. Personal hygiene

Seatrade Cruise Med will provide additional hand washing facilities and hand sanitising stations throughout the event, encouraging all participants to regularly wash and disinfect their hands.

3. Safe space

The Trade Fairs and Congress Center of Málaga is proud to have been awarded 'Safe Tourism Certified'  tourism seal issued by the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (ICTE) for being committed to providing a safe space for holding events.

Physical Distancing

We will manage physical distancing through the following processes:

4. Non-contact registration

Through increased use of technology, Seatrade Cruise Med aims to minimise lines and entry transactions. Attendees are encouraged to register online before the show allowing barcode scanning for contactless badge printing. Registration counters will have a partition between visitors and registration staff.

5. Physical distancing

Seatrade Cruise Med recommends following the 3-foot radial distance / 6 feet of physical distance per person. The exchange of printed materials, such as business cards and sales brochures, will also be discouraged, with digital alternatives recommended.

Protect & Detect

Measures are in place for both protection and early detection:

7. First aid

Seatrade Cruise Med will have access to a qualified first aid responder for any immediate medical needs or medically-related questions.
